Why I’m Running for Reelection

Both my career and last five years on the ISD 197 School Board reflect my firmly held belief that all children – no matter their neighborhood, skin color, language, identity, or ability – should have the same opportunities to be successful in school, career, and life.  If reelected, I will continue to fight for the policies, resources and supports our students and district need.  As a parent and former teacher, my top priorities to support the success of ALL students and the educators who contribute to their learning are:

1. Championing equity, diversity, and inclusion to support the success of all students
2. Relentless advocate of our students and schools
3. Community building
4. Responsible and transparent budgeting
